You know that moment when you turn a corner on a trail and a view appears that literally takes your breath away and brings a tear to your eye at the unfathomable beauty of it all? That is why I take pictures. To capture that moment when you realize you've been holding your breath and your heart and everything else just stops moving. I never feel closer to my Creator than at these moments of sensory overload. The sights, sounds, and smells of the backcountry or even by the side of the road can be captured in 1/250th of a second at f-11 and I can share this moment of my life with the world.

The name Singing Sky comes from Psalm 19:1, "The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands." It is my heart felt desire that the images I capture would reflect the magnificence of God and would bring glory to Him.

Guestbook for Singing Sky Photography

I wanted to add that I read the genesis of the Singing Sky name and love what you wrote. It shows, you know, your love and your appreciation and your gratitude...in your photographs.

Hi! I'm the one on FaceBook who commented to some extent on your magnificent ice with green and then mentioned my nephew lives in Bozeman. I've been looking at your site here and I've got to say it is about the MOST entirely gorgeous photography site I've ever seen. In fact, I just sent the link to it to 41 people suggesting they come here and be dazzled. You are not only good, you are extraordinary and I can't find a single shot you've taken that is not a delight to my eye. I'm so glad you popped up as a suggestion on my FaceBook.
