You know that moment when you turn a corner on a trail and a view appears that literally takes your breath away and brings a tear to your eye at the unfathomable beauty of it all? That is why I take pictures. To capture that moment when you realize you've been holding your breath and your heart and everything else just stops moving. I never feel closer to my Creator than at these moments of sensory overload. The sights, sounds, and smells of the backcountry or even by the side of the road can be captured in 1/250th of a second at f-11 and I can share this moment of my life with the world.

The name Singing Sky comes from Psalm 19:1, "The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands." It is my heart felt desire that the images I capture would reflect the magnificence of God and would bring glory to Him.

Paul, your mother and father were at our house the other night eating supper and she gave me your card. I have enjoyed looking at your photos--you are an amazing photographer, and I'm especially happy to see that you give credit to our Creator. I make my own greeting cards for my personal use and I would love to buy a few of your photos for that.
Very beautiful pictures .
Saw the eagle photo in the magazine and had to see the rest of your pics.
