You know that moment when you turn a corner and a view appears that literally takes your breath away? One of those times that brings a tear to your eye at the unfathomable beauty of it all? That is why I take pictures. To capture that moment when you realize you've been holding your breath. Your heart and everything around you seems to pause. I never feel closer to my Creator than during moments like this. The sights, sounds, and smells of the backcountry or even by the side of the road really need to be experienced to truly appreciate them, but these images are my attempt to share the moments I have been blessed with.

The name "Singing Sky" is adapted from Psalm 19:1, "The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands." It is my heart felt desire that the images I discover would reflect the magnificence of the natural world and reveal the majesty of the Creator. Perhaps most importantly,  that we would all be inspired to do more to protect these places from harm.
