The Poser
Sometimes you have to go with the flow, and other times you just grab on and hold on for dear life! That was the case with this leaf. My friend and I were photographing the creek and noticed this flat rock and the fantastic way the water flowed over it. We meandered up to it, shooting as went. We were marveling at how many leaves were drifting with the water when we watched this leaf float over and get stuck on the rock. It stayed there for a good 30 minutes while we were shooting and then just as we were packing up the gear to go, it vanished in the liquid which had carried it here in the first place. I’ve never had a leaf pose for me quite like this one did!
